Episode #38: The Flight to Maine: Real Estate Trends in a Pandemic with Marty Macisso

Vacationland. Just the sound of that word sounds great! If you don’t know what state I’m referring to, Vacationland is the state of Maine (which is where I’m from), and today I’m speaking with a Maine real estate agent to tell you all about what it’s like to move and live there.

Marty Macisso has been a Maine licensed realtor since 2010 in the Greater Portland Maine area, but he’s sold properties up and down the coast of the state. Prior to this Marty was a loan officer and he has extensive knowledge of lending and market trends. He resides in a rural town just west of Portland, and he is married with a newborn daughter.

I really wanted to have Marty on the show to talk about the trend that is seeing more and more people relocate to Maine, because it’s become such a popular move (especially during the pandemic). If you’ve ever had plans, or dreams to move to another state, you’re really going to find the episode interesting. If you have any questions about what it’s like to live in Maine, please do reach out to Marty or myself, as I grew up in Maine and my family still resides there!
