How Our Homes Impact Our Mental Health with Kate Ecke

Today’s guest was quoted in Good Housekeeping Magazine, and I reached out as I really wanted to introduce her to you!

Kate Ecke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of The Unconventional Therapists. The Unconventional Therapists is a boutique therapy practice disrupting the mental health paradigm. Kate is trained in EMDR, Functional Family Therapy and Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Kate received her Bachelors in Social Work from Alvernia University and her Masters in Social Work from Stockton University. Kate lives with her husband and daughter on their farm in New Jersey with her five horses, 12 ducks, two goats and 8 chickens.

In this episode, not only does Kate share her expertise about the mind/home connection, but she shares what to consider about returning to the office to work, as this can produce anxiety as so many of us are used to working from home. If you’ve moved to the suburbs, you probably have a longer commute to consider now, but today Kate provides mindset shifts and actionable tips to make these changes so much easier.
