Supermom Syndrome and How to Conquer it with Lynn Turcotte-Schuh

Alright Moms, I want you to hang up your capes for a minute as you listen to this episode! The “Supermom Syndrome” is a very real thing, and today’s special guest is here to share her expertise on it and explain how default parenting, the mental load and mom shaming are holding women back, and what we can start to do about these things right now.  

Lynn Turcotte-Schuh is a Mentor, Speaker and Educator who supports Mamas in letting go of society’s expectations and redefining their motherhood experience for themselves. She is the Founder of the Happy Mama Wellness Community, the place to be for Mamas who love their kids but aren’t loving the day-to-day of motherhood. When Lynn isn’t working with Mamas, you can find her with her wife and daughter on their 14-acre homestead; probably hanging out with her rabbits or chickens, getting dirty in the garden or leading a wicked awesome kitchen dance party.

As rewarding as motherhood is, the day-to-day of it can be really hard. I think it’s important for us to know that it’s perfectly ok to talk about the challenges in motherhood, without feeling judgment or shame, which is why I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to share this conversation with Lynn today on the podcast.
